After leaving corporate in 2020, Zack began his consulting career under Zlevor Design.

While Zlevor Design was in its beginning stages, Zack successfully designed, developed and delivered hardware for high-end consumer electronics, medical, and boutique hardware clients.

On one project, with limited time to spare- Zack personally flew to Hannover Germany and hand-delivered a set of prototypes which secured his client's design award win.

Upon exiting his return flight, an email hidden in a junk folder brought him another RedDot Design Award, his second - granting 2 international design awards to one client within a 72 hour window.

Garnering 3 international design awards within 3 years, it became apparent that he was on the right path. While Zlevor Design served him well as an independent, there was a growing need for a team. Enter: Primal. Primal is a highly collaborative industrial design firm that values client selectivity, tangible results, and world-changing hardware.
